NOW IS THE TIME! Choices, Chances, Changes.... You must make a Choice to make a Chance or your life will never Change.

Eccl 9:11 11 I returned and saw under the sun that — The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread
to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all. NKJV
The numbers 9-1-1 was selected as the emergency numbers by the telecom companies in 1968 to connect to emergency responders because it was brief, easy to remember, dialed easily,
and worked well with the phone systems – there’s no other reason for it! But I believe that God in His sovereignty and wisdom, uses the same numbers to tell us His children and even the entire world that it is not yet too late, He is giving us
this time, and a last chance! Time and chance is given to everyone to put to order a life ruined and perplexed by our disobedience and rebellion against God!
1 Chron 12:32a And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do. KJV
They know the time and they know what to do! If you don’t know the time, then you probably don’t know what to do! If you didn’t know what to do, most
probably you did the wrong thing with the wrong people; you messed up a perfectly planned future – you are destroying hope! But there is still a chance that God had made available for you, and we cant miss this chance!
Time is a brief interruption in eternity with measure; it is the length of days given to men to live on this earth; When God wants to accomplish something in the life
of a person, He gives him ‘time’, it is the currency of heaven here on earth! Time wasted is life abused for ignorance always result into abuse – wasted time is wasted life; time without purpose is life without meaning!
God created time in order for Him to fulfill His purpose!
Sadly, many chose to live by their preferences, the things that give them pleasure and not by what God desires of them – by their convictions. If you are still
living by preference and not seeking and doing the will of God for you, then you are committing sin. To sin is the Hebrew word ‘khaw taw’, which means to miss the mark; to not do the will and purpose of God for your life. There
are countless Christians today all over the world who have been deceived by Satan into thinking that having sufficiency and pleasure are all that God desires for us – they are so wrong!
Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. KJV
Chance is an opportunity, its an opportune time or a set of circumstances that makes it possible for something
to happen; to make up for something that was lost or have failed to accomplish.
Job 14:7 For a tree there is always hope. Chop it down and it still has a chance —
its roots can put out fresh sprouts.
In the parable of the “wise and foolish
virgins”, God talks about the Christians who had no understanding of the times and seasons, that they misused their lives, to their own loss – this parable came after the signs of the times were given by Jesus in Matthew 24.
Matt 25:1-6 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the
bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became
drowsy and fell asleep. 6 "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
Virgin is the Hebrew word ‘btula’ which means a maiden, to separate, a girl of marriageable age.
Christ our Lord looks at the us, the born
again child of God as His btula, virgin bride – but we all fell asleep during the long wait for His coming – the world had somehow got into the church! Both the wise and the foolish fell asleep together!
Prov 9:10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. NKJV
Only those who fear the Lord become wise, those who do not, are fools!
The Jesus movement was a movement in Christianity beginning on the West Coast of the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s and spreading throughout North America and Europe, before subsiding by
the early 1980s. Members were called Jesus people, or Jesus freaks. The Jesus movement left a legacy of various denominations and other Christian organizations, and had an impact on both the development of the Jesus music, which grew out
of the movement, that greatly influenced contemporary Christian music.
The Jesus Movement was also called the Charismatic
Movement, it went into full swing for about a decade. It involved mainline Protestants and Roman Catholics who testified to supernatural experiences similar to those recorded in the Acts of the Apostles, especially speaking in tongues.
Both these movement were calling the church back to primitive Christianity and recovery of the gifts of the Spirit.
But it subsided by the 1980s, the church
became drowsy and fell asleep.
"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
Matt 25:7-12 7 "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out. 9 "'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you.
Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.' 10 "But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 "Later the others also
came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!' 12 "But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'
God is good to those who are wise, to those who fear Him, but severe to those who are not!
Rom 11:2 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. NKJV
People try and get their oil, which is symbolic of Gods anointing in their lives from other people – many think
that by being close or identified with well known personalities or groups will bring the anointing in their lives – they are so wrong!
Isa 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. KJV
The anointing destroys the yoke of sin and slavery from off our shoulders, we are set free because of the anointing – But
we cannot get the anointing from other people, we must be able to pay the price for it!
Matt 25:9 "'No,'
they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
Matt 25:10-12 "But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 "Later the others also came. 'Sir!
Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!' 12 "But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'
This is the severity of God! He will not recognize you because you are a
member of such church or friend of such great pastor – He recognizes you by the obedience you did in the time that He gave you – obedience puts a person in the position of “ Gods favor!” But by the grace of God, He has given us another
chance, a last chance for the world before He returns! How do we know, and how do we recognize the chance God is giving us? Through His “judgment!”
Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn
The typhoons and the earthquakes happening all around the world at this time are judgments from
God – so we will all learn righteousness! It is good for us that God judges us in time, because time passes, and it is short, rather than for God to judge us in eternity! Eternity is eternity, it does not pass and it never comes to an end – it
is the love of God for us that makes Him judge us in time! This is our chance, while we still have the time, we must redeem time! Redeem means bringing what was lost in the past into the future, as if it had never been lost!
Joel 2:25 "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing
locust, My great army which I sent among you. NKJV
The chance God gives us is also
an opportunity to gain His favor and recover what we have lost during our rebellious years – lost relationships, lost opportunities, even lost fortunes – when God anoints us for it, nothing shall be impossible for you, this is the ‘kairos’
time of the church! There are many good things in life that you can ask for, but many are not really related to our destiny, you must be careful what you ask for!
specific time, season – so how do we know this is our kairos time?
The parables of Matthew 13 reveals to us the stages of the church, and what the Lord requires of us in our
Matthew 13:1-23 is The Parable of the Sower, here Jesus was the farmer who sowed the seed.
V24-30 was the Parable
of the weeds where the enemy came and sowed sin and rebellion.
V31-32 was the Parable of the Mustard seed where the Word of God grew to cover the world and Satan attacking the branches.
Matthew 13:33 was the Parable of the Yeast, again Satan is attacking the church.
V44-46 is the Parable of the Hidden Treasure and
the Pearl where Jesus is saying that He is worth selling all that we have because He is the Pearl of great price, and He is coming soon, He expects no less than selling our all! Eternity is coming, time is short!
V47-50 is the Parable of the Net, this is the great harvest, the last day.
All are happening now, the seeds have been sown and so were the weeds, Satan is relentless with his attacks, there awaits only the final day!
