Kingdom Finances How To Experience It?

But The Kingdom of God is also based on two immutable principles – First is Love as against greed, and second is Humility as against pride!

 by: Pstr Ovet Tamayo

90% of the biblical verses you will see in the Bible that talks about “finance” are in the context of the last days – and these are very, very significant!

James 5:3 --Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.

2 Tim 3:1-2 --But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.  2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy…

God wants to give His people today financial release by bringing into our world His own Kingdom Economic System! When everything in the world is failing, this system of God will prosper – this will not be affected by what is happening in the world and the people will see it! It is not the will of God that His children should live in poverty and lack – it is not in His best interest that the citizens of His Kingdom should suffer; either on earth or in the life after! Like sickness and death, poverty is also a result of man’s sin and disobedience to God!

When man chose to live independent of God and started to live for himself and unto himself, becoming his own god, man began to measure himself based only on two things – power  (influence and control), and wealth (possessions)! These resulted in ‘greed’– so war and bloodshed broke out!

Forged by the hand of greed, and driven by wealth and power as his main source for this life, man tried to establish his own economic system – Capitalism, Communism, and Socialism – but they all failed!

But The Kingdom of God is also based on two immutable principles – First is Love as against greed, and second is Humility as against pride!

This system will co-exist with the system of the anti-Christ, but it can never be affected by him!

But we need to manifest first His Kingdom that lives in us – His will, His influence, His power and His dominion, on earth as it is in heaven!

Matt 6:33-- But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. NKJV

1 Tim 6:10-- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Money is not evil, but the love for it is! It is the will of God that we should all prosper!

3 John 2-- Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. NKJV

We're the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health — that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!  THE MESSAGE

Deut 28:15 "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: NKJV

2 Cor 8:9-- For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Jesus Became Poor So That We Would Not Become Poor!

We may have heard of so many ways so many preachers have preached on how to become prosperous; but there is one universal law which God has given for all of us to observe; THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING!

Prov 16:28-- A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends. NKJV

This law does not only apply to finances but even to attitudes and relationships, Christians and non-believers as well! For every action that you will do, there is always a commensurate reaction!

What’s happening in your life is a direct result of sowing and reaping, and we need to view our lives based on this law!

2 Cor 9:6-7-- But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. NKJV

We ask ourselves today, how do I love, and how much am I giving of myself, my talent, my focus? Am I a cheerful giver, am I happy with what I do? What is the kind of life I am living today, poor or prosperous?

We see these principles of God at work in the book of Malachi – his name means “messenger of Jehovah”, and he was the last prophet of God in the Old Testament.

Mal 3:1-2 "Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts.

2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire NKJV

The context of this book is in the ‘end-times’!

After the Prophet Malachi, there came 400 years of silence, no prophet was ever heard of again in all Israel! The big question is WHY?

God gave them a final instruction that would assure prosperity and victory in their lives – but they didn't do it! The lights were turned off and there was 400 years of darkness!

Mal 3:8-9 "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. NKJV

The word ‘curse’ in Hebrew is ‘arar’ (aw-rar) which means to prevent from coming what is due to you – if blessings, then blessings; if victory, then victory! The curse is a result of disobeying God; it is caused by robbing God of His ‘tithe’ and offerings!

Lev 27:30-32 "'A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. 31 If a man redeems any of his tithe, he must add a fifth of the value to it. 32 The entire tithe of the herd and flock — every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd's rod — will be holy to the Lord.

The ‘tithe’ belongs to the Lord!

The ‘tithe’ is Holy unto the Lord!

When the people don’t give their tithe to the Lord, they are ‘robbing’ God!

If you rob God, you are cursed with a curse! What you ought to receive in your life, they are hindered, and they are blocked! Results in misery and defeat and poverty!

Mal 3:10-12 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, "Says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

 11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, "Says the Lord of hosts;

12 And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts. NKJV

The lives of many today are cursed!

You are unable to receive what you are supposed to receive because you are robbing God – this also result in God becoming silent to you, and darkness covers your life!

Mal 3:4 "Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years. NKJV

When God talks about the former years, He is talking about a restoration of what it was like before! What were those times? There were 2 particular events…

 Ex 35:4-6 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, "This is what the Lord has commanded:  5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze; 6 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair;

Ex 36:5-7 "The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done." 6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: "No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary." And so the people were restrained from bringing more, 7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.

Where did the people get all this wealth? From the Egyptians after the 10th plague!

There is so much money in the world, and God wants to put them in your hands! Yet for so many, there is always a need, but the money was never there, they are cursed with a curse!

2 Kings 12:9 Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest, bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of the Lord; and the priests who kept the door put there all the money brought into the house of the Lord. NKJV

They didn’t have to ask for the money anymore, the people just gave and gave! Not only is there a release in the finance, there is also a release of the ‘anointing’ for your life and your ministry!

Ex 35:30-31 Then Moses said to the Israelites, "See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts .

Ex 35:34 And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.

Even the craftsmen of today cannot fully fathom how they were able to do what they did in the old days, even with their modern equipment!

Ex 22:29-30 "Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats. "You must give me the firstborn of your sons. 30 Do the same with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but give them to me on the eighth day.

The ‘first fruit” is also very important for the Lord of which many of the release of our blessings depend on; many of life’s curses are due to not giving your first fruit unto the Lord!

Jericho was the first among many cities that Israel was to conquer when they got to the Promised Land, and God gave them a command…

 Josh 6:18-19

But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury. “

But they did not obey God!

Josh 7:11-12…Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions. 12 That is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs and run because they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.

Their anointing was gone, even God was ready to abandon them until they obeyed!

Malachi talks about this – you didn't bring the first fruit, you didn't bring the tithe, people say “I can’t afford it”, but I say NO, you cannot afford not to”, it belongs to God, you can’t rob God!

You are under a curse even now, you come under the curse of poverty and lack of anointing, and you are open to your enemies attack!

Mal 3:5a  And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers…

There is even anointing for Spiritual Warfare!

Mal 3:6-7 "I the Lord do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the Lord Almighty.

He will make our lives as in the days of old, as in the days gone by, full and prosperous, nothing will be able to affect you, we are above and beyond; we are SUPERNATURAL!
